Pittsburg sweeps Tigers Friday night

It was not Fort Scott’s night as the Fort Scott High School Tigers and Lady Tiger varsity squads were downed by SEK rival Pittsburg Friday night in the Tigerdome.

On Homecoming night, the Lady Tigers (3-13) clawed back to keep the game close in the second half, but ultimately fell 42-38. The Tiger boys (6-10) battled through a close, back-and-forth affair, but could not overcome the Purple Dragons in a 79-72 defeat.
