City manager contract revisions made

Fort Scott City Commissioners made some modifications to City Manager Dave Martin’s employment agreement during their regular meeting Tuesday night.

Following a 10-minute executive session to discuss non-elected personnel, Mayor Jean Parker said Martin’s employment agreement with the city was discussed for his annual review. Commissioners approved the employment agreement with various changes.

Parker said there was no increase in Martin’s salary, wages or benefits. Some deficiencies in the agreement were corrected, including the addition of a job description and clarification of performance reviews and terms for Martin’s future contracted years of service.
