Tigers' season ends in Chanute

The Fort Scott High School Tiger football team fell 28-7 to the Chanute Blue Comets in a first-round state playoff game Friday night in Chanute.

The Tigers, who were knotted with the Blue Comets 0-0 after the first quarter, found themselves down 14-0 at halftime after Chanute scored two touchdowns in about a minute late in the second quarter.
