Top 10 finishes for Tiger golfers

Two Fort Scott High School Tiger golfers battled harsh conditions to finish in the top 10 overall at the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 4A Girls Golf State Championship Monday and Tuesday at the Hesston Golf Course.

Senior Lauren Madison shot an 85 on the first day and an 86 on day two for a total score of 171 to finish in fourth place. Sophomore Karlie Chipman shot an 88, 89 for a total score of 177 to finish in seventh place.
