Taking their game to state

Four Fort Scott Tiger golfers will hit the links at the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 4A Girls Golf State Championship Monday and Tuesday at the Hesston Golf Course.

Lauren Madison, a senior, Karlie Chipman, a sophomore, Lily Leigh, a junior and freshman Ryann Thurston will tee up Monday to represent Fort Scott High School and the community at the state tournament. The girls are coached by Julie Heatherly, who is in her second year as head golf coach.
