Purple Dragons blank Tigers, 28-0

The Fort Scott High School Tiger football team was downed 28-0 by SEK rivals, the Pittsburg Purple Dragons, on Homecoming Night Friday at Frary Field.

In a game in which penalties negated big plays for both teams, Pittsburg led 7-0 at halftime. Pittsburg's two touchdowns in the third quarter and one early in the fourth put away the game.

The Tigers are now 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the SEK. With the win, the Purple Dragons are now 3-1 overall.
