Dewey Max Hill Jr.

Dewey Max Hill Jr., 63, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He was born on Feb. 28, 1956 to Dewey Hill Sr. and Lois Kathleen (Brown) Hill in Douglas, Wyo. Dewey Max graduated high school at North High School in Bakersfield, Calif. He became a member of the United States Air Force and eventually settled in Uniontown, Kan., where he started his own construction company, D-Max Construction, and also worked for the city of Uniontown. As a side practice he was a passionate Bounty Hunter. Dewey loved his family, building things with his hands, motorcycles, and good music. He was a loving father, son, brother, and beloved friend. He is and will forever be deeply missed and loved.
Dewey is survived by his brothers Kenneth Brown, Richard Hill, and Charlie Hill. Sisters Wilma Graham and Diana Sullivan. One son Dewey Max Hill lll. Daughters Shasta Nikole, Geri McKenna, Christina Leer and their mother Donna Gravitt. Grandchildren Brodrick Glessner, Brenden Hill, Ethan Clay, Ni’kya, Mackenzie and Natalie Shortlseeve Zachary, Silas, Gaige, and Emeryn Jones, Ph'Ness and Ezryah Burton, and one great-grandson Zen Michael Hill.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Kay and Dewey Hill, Sr.
Dewey Max was cremated and private memorial will take place at a later date.
