Holston, Harris begin rodeo season with success at Colby

Two Fort Scott Community College rodeo competitors found success at the Colby Community College rodeo Sept. 20-22.

Trey Holston of Fort Scott won the long round, short round and average in bull riding, and Karson Harris of Hepler finished third in the average for bareback riding. Holston finished with a score of 165 in bull riding, more than double the score of his nearest competitor. Harris finished with a score of 130 in bareback riding.
