Charges filed against man accused in assault of four people

Charges have been officially filed on a Nevada, Mo., man who allegedly assaulted four people at a residence on East Sixth Street Sept. 3.

According to a criminal complaint filed Sept. 5 in Bourbon County District Court, Brandon Michael Swink, 35, faces one count of attempted murder in the second degree, one count of aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated battery, one count of aggravated assault, one count of criminal threat, one count of battery and two counts of criminal damage to property.
