Roger LeRoy Heckman

Roger LeRoy Heckman, 84, of Shawnee, Kan., passed away, Friday, Sept. 6, 2019. Services will be private with burial in Uniontown Ceme-tery.

Roger was born June 20, 1935 in Fort Scott to William and Ellen Chandler Heckman. He grew up and attended school in Uniontown.

He worked as a Millwright for Jayhawk Millwrights in Kansas City.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Teresa Burks and Anita Vail. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean Heckman; a son, Ken Heck-man; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Condolences may be expressed at www.AmosFamily.com.
