Tigers rout Nados 40-14 in season opener

In the season opener Friday night, the Fort Scott Tiger football team rolled over the Coffeyville Field Kindley Golden Tornado 40-14 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Coffeyville.

Behind a strong running game and big defensive plays, the Tigers (1-0 overall, 1-0 in the SEK) cruised to the victory, blowing open a 14-14 game in the second half to secure the victory in Head Coach Bo Graham’s coaching debut.
