Hurricanes' 2019 season is off the blocks

The Fort Scott Hurricanes swim team won its first official meet of the season Wednesday night, a triangular with Erie and Humboldt at the Fort Scott Aquatic Center.
The Hurricanes put up a combined team score of 607 through 78 events, ahead of Erie with 26 and Humboldt with 24. Swimmers competed in a variety of events and earned five points for each first place finish.
