Tigers, Lady Tigers win easy in Chanute; Tigers share SEK title

The Fort Scott Tiger varsity baseball team (11-1 in the SEK, 19-1 overall) defeated the Chanute Blue Comets (8-4, 11-7) 10-3 Thursday in Chanute and grabbed a share of the SEK baseball championship.

In the last game of the regular season, the Tigers outhit Chanute 10-7, including three hits from Ivan Witt and two hits from Keenan Guilfoyle. Brady Masters had three RBIs while Witt and Alec Michaud each knocked in two runs. Fort Scott’s Ty Gorman walked five times.
