YATES CENTER — Uniontown lost to Yates Center here Friday night, 7-6, in a game that counted in both the Three Rivers League-Upper Division and Class 1A District 1.

“It was a tough game played on a sloppy field,” Uniontown head coach Jeremy Neville said. “We had some guys out tonight that had played a lot up to this point in the season. Drew Perry stepped in and plaed a solid ball game. There were some bright spots but the conditions limited our ability to utilize more of our quickness.”

The Eagles fell to 1-4 in the league, 0-2 in the district and 1-6 overall. They conclude regular-season play Friday at home against Colgan.
