Morgyn Bronson checks to make sure she has enough water in a measuring cup to make cereal bars during a cooking class Thursday morning in the basement of the First United Methodist Church.
Thursday was the last day of the cooking classes, which began Tuesday and are offered by the K-State Research and Extension office. Classes included students who have completed second through fifth grades. Students learned from certified instructors how to prepare a variety of foods.
