OLPE -- The homestanding Olpe Eagles held Uniontown in check in a non-league football game here Friday night, defeating the visitors in a battle of Eagles, 48-6.

Olpe and Uniontown both stand at 2-3 on the season. Olpe, one of the smallest 11-man playing football schools in Kansas, broke a two-game losing streak. Uniontown lost its second consecutive outing.
