FSHS splits league opener at Chanute

CHANUTE -- Fort Scott High School's volleyball team split in its first Southeast Kansas League event of the season here Tuesday. The Tigers (1-1 SEK, 2-3 overall) defeated the host school in three sets, 15-25, 25-18, 25-21, and lost to Pittsburg, 25-11, 25-10.

The Tigers played a non-league quadrangular at Osawatomie Thursday and will be at a tournament in Pittsburg Saturday.
