Eagle volleyball opens season Saturday

Uniontown's volleyball team opens its season Saturday at Pleasanton in the Three Rivers League Pre-Season Tournament.

Head coach Jackie Hall reports 15 players out for the squad. There are four seniors: Holly Shinn, Jimme Keller, Kate Coll and Haley O'Neal. The three juniors are Danielle Dading, Keeley Goodridge and Blair Rockhold. Sophomores are Joy Page, Hannah Beerbower and Maddie Ard.

Those players as well as freshman Lauren Shinn will travel to Pleasanton for the tournament. The other freshmen are Kenzie Brown, Sivanah McAnulty, Alissa Button and Jacquie Hampton.
