Eagles take two from Jays

PLEASANTON -- Uniontown swept Pleasanton here Friday night in a Three Rivers League doubleheader, both teams extending winning streaks.

Eagle girls opened with a 43-39 victory. This was their seventh win in a row, powered by 28 points from Shalina Harper.

Eagle girls are now 5-2 in the TRL and 11-6 overall. Pleasanton has lost 4 of its last 7 and fell to 3-3, 9-7 despite 21 points from Zoe Marshall.

Eagle boys (4-2, 11-6) won their fourth in a row behind 17 points from Ben George and 11 by Garrett Elder. Pleasanton dropped to 1-4, 5-11 having lost three of its last four games.
