UJH girls swept by J-Linn, Northeast

Uniontown Junior High's girls' basketball teams were swept in doubleheaders at Jayhawk-Linn and Northeast last week.

On Nov. 17, the UJH "A" team lost by a score of 31-9 to the Jayhawks. Karleigh Schoenberger , Sammie Hampton, Kaitlyn Hanks and Libby Franks each scored 2 points. The "B" team lost 16-11. Breanna Stokes led the Eagles with 4 points.

Thursday, the "A" team lost at Northeast, 29-24. Sammie Hampton led the team with 8 points. Makenzie Brown, Karleigh Schoenberger scored 6 points each.

The "B" team fell 24-7. Stokes led the Eagles with 3 points.

Uniontown will play host to Crest tonight, then have the rest of the week off.
