Eagles kick off at 6 Tuesday
The Eight-Man Division I Bi-District Playoff Game between Uniontown and Central-Burden will kick off at 6 p.m. Tuesday night, according to the bracket updated in the Kansas State High School Activities Assocation's web site this morning. The change in game time is meant to accomodate the Raiders, who will be traveling about two hours.
Uniontown is 9-0 going into the game coming off a 60-12 victory over Waverly in Thursday night's district finale. Central is 7-2 with losses to Attica/Argonia and Howard-West Elk, both of which are also unbeaten. West Elk defeated the Raiders, 42-22, Thursday night to win the Eight-Man I District 2 championship.
Should the Eagles win, they will play Saturday against the winner of Tuesday night's game between Mankato-Rock Hills (7-2) and undefeated Burlingame. The KSHSAA playoff formulas dictate that Uniontown will be the road team in the Regional round.
