Kids take part in weekend events

Events held Saturday in Bourbon County gave kids an opportunity to have some fun. At Gunn Park in Fort Scott, a mountain bike skills workshop was held in conjunction with Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. The annual Care to Share, Relay for Life of Bourbon County Fall Festival also was held, giving kids and their families the opportunity to participate in several fall activities in rural Bourbon County.
