Pittsburg wins JV contest

PITTSBURG -- Fort Scott High's junior varsity football team lost to Pittsburg here Monday night, 32-16. All of the Tigers' points came in the second half after trailing 24-0.

Zarek Fewell and Derek Bollinger each scored touchdowns for the Tigers (2-1). Both also scored 2-point conversions.

Last week, the Tigers won at Spring Hill, 52-6.

The next outing for the Fort Scott JV will be against Coffeyville Monday at Frary Field. That will follow the freshmen game, which is set to kick off at 5 p.m.
