Several local emergency response agencies, as well as the Kansas Highway Patrol, responded to an injury accident involving a vehicle rollover about 1:30 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 69 near Poplar Road.
Northbound traffic lanes on a portion of U.S. 69 where the accident occurred were blocked and traffic was directed around the accident scene.
Multiple air ambulances were used following the accident, according to police scanner reports. At least one medical helicopter transported a patient from the site.
When contacted Thursday afternoon, Bourbon County Sheriff Bill Martin said he did not yet have information on the crash as a sheriff's deputy had not yet completed a report. Martin said more information would likely be available today.
