Multiple-injury accident

According to police scanner reports, there were multiple injuries in the accident. Several local emergency response agencies, including Mercy EMS, Fort Scott Fire Department, Fort Scott Police Department, Bourbon County Sheriff's Office and rural fire departments assisted at the scene. A medical helicopter landed at the scene at about 6 p.m. Watch for details in a future edition of The Tribune.
