Donna Louise (Sizemore) Joles
Donna Louise (Sizemore) Joles, 60, passed away May 4, 2015. A former resident of Fort Scott, she resided in Wichita. An avid reader and talented artist, she will be missed. She was a writer who loved to read and an educator who loved to learn. She never missed an opportunity to share a story or befriend a stranger. Her favorite tools included a well-loved book, pen and paper, and a rolling pin. And she could most often be found in her garden, in her kitchen baking or curled up with a favorite book, cat in lap.
Her survivors include daughter, Tiffany (Phillips) Fisher, and husband, Michael; grandson, Jax Fisher; sister, Robin Himes, and husband, John; brother, Ray Sizemore, and wife, Frances; aunt, May Hull; aunt, Dorothy Cutliff; uncle, Ike Sizemore; two nieces, Kelsey and Jordan Himes; and three nephews, Joey Himes, and Christopher and Shaun Sizemore. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Sizemore; father, Robert Sizemore; and sister, Carol Beckford.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Word of Life Church, 1653 Martinson, Wichita, Kan. A graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m., also on May 23, in Prescott, Kan., Prescott Cemetery.
