Competing talents

Fort Scott High School students got the change to show off their performing arts skills during the annual Talent Show and Mr. FSHS Pageant Tuesday night at the high school.

The show featured vocal and instrumental musicians as well as dancers and actors. Prizes were awarded to the top three performers. FSHS seniors Emily Martin and Stephanie Rice were the emcees for this year's competition.

The evening also featured the annual Mr. FSHS Pageant featuring senior males representing various high school teams and organizations. Contestants modeled "sportswear" representing their organization and the traditional pageant gown as they performed their own "talents" and answered pageant questions.

The pageant winner was to be decided by audience applause.

Winners of the talent show and the pageant were not available to the Tribune as of press time.
