Harper scores 24 in Eagle loss

MOUND CITY -- Shalina Harper's 24-point effort was not enough for Uniontown's girls here Tuesday night as the Eagles fell to Jayhawk-Linn, 57-33, in a non-league contest between the Three Rivers League rivals.

Harper also had 7 rebounds and 4 steals for the Eagles, who are 1-6. Megan Smith finished with 3 steals and 2 assists.

Jayhawk-Linn improved to 2-4 on the season.

Uniontown plays at Erie Friday night.
