Tiger boys win home JV tourney

Fort Scott High School's junior varsity boys' basketball team claimed the championship of their own tournament by winning two games on Saturday. The Tigers defeated Iola, 56-46, and Frontenac, 61-39.

Devonte Robinson led the Tigers (3-0) with 22 points against Iola while Marcus Stepps added 12. Austin Cook led the way against Frontenac with 14 points. Robinson scored 12 and Ryan Thomas chipped in with 11.

Saturday's girls' scores were not available at press time.

Both JV teams play as part of a six-game night at home tonight. Parsons will be the opponent.
