Bonna June Tindill, age 55, resident of Fort Scott, Kansas, died Thursday, December 04, 2014, at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. She was born May 18, 1959, in Lamar, Missouri, the daughter of Omar Lee Collins and Wilma Louise Edwards Collins. Her family was her life. She greatly enjoyed time spent with them. She was a very caring person who opened her door to all who needed her help. She enjoyed traditional country, gospel and Elvis music.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald Parker and fiancé Alexandra, Fort Scott, Dusty Parker, Milo, Missouri, and Cody Tindill, Fort Scott; two daughters, Myla Springston and Crystal Metcalf and husband Thomas, Jr. all of Fort Scott; two brothers, Richard Collins and wife Carrie, Compton Junction, Missouri, and Darrell Collins, Garland, Kansas; six sisters, Sharon Wimbish, California, Terri Wood, Golden City, Missouri, Patricia Silvers and husband Butch, Pittsburg, Kansas, Clarissa Silvers, Golden City, Missouri, Beverly Paulk, Fort Scott, and Deborah Teschner and husband Skip, Oskaloosa, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and one on the way; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Collins; and her parents.

Pastor David Beard will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 8th, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Nashville Cemetery, Nashville, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the Chapel.
