FS Juniors to hold tryouts

The FS Junior volleyball club will hold tryouts at Buck Run Community Center, 735 Scott Ave., on November 9. There will be sessions for those 14 and under and another for those 15 to 18 years old.

FS Juniors, started in 2011, is looking to fill teams for 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17-18 year-old age groups.

Tryouts for those 14 and under will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tryouts for the 15-18 teams will be conducted from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

"FS Juniors gives participants numerous opportunities to get training and playing time, year round," a release stated "The group offers qualified coaches to will assist players in getting the best training possible, plus the opportunity to start their recruiting process."

The non-profit club charges enough to cover the score of apparrel, a membership fee, tournament fees, practice facilites, equipment, a coaches stupend and other expenses with a goal of providing the best training program from the lowest cost.

Practices will be held twice a week, working around schedules including basketball.
