Five Eagles earn All-TRL honors

Three girls and two boys from Uniontown's basketball teams received honors from league coaches as the All-Three Rivers League teams were selected Wednesday night.

The girls were seniors DaNisha Robinson, Emily Shinn and Jessica Farra, all chosen for the Second Team. The two boys were also seniors placed on the Second Team, Joseph Duffey and Skyler Riley.

The girls' First Team had unanimous picks Kaylee Bogina, a junior from Northeast, and Jordyn Tuck, a sophomore from St. Paul. Also on the First Team were Pleasanton's Autumn Secrest, the only senior chosen, St. Paul sophomore Josie Albertini, Pleasanton sophomore Sydney Dent, and Oswego freshman Gwyn Dean.

The other players on the Second Team are senior Carly Jackson from Jayhawk-Linn, junior Ashton Wood from St. Paul, and freshman Autumn Walker from Jayhawk-Linn.

The girls' Honorable Mention list had seniors Camri Burke of St. Paul and Kaitlin Ensminger of Marmaton Valley, junior Emily Johnson of Chetopa, sophomore Brileigh Ware of Jayhawk-Linn, and freshmen Cambri Conard of Chetopa and Karlee Hammond of Crest.

The boys' First Team featured Chetopa senior Austen Sanders, the lone unanimous selection. Also on the team were Northeast senior J.T. Richardson, Oswego senior Tag Oldham, Crest senior Brock Ellis, Chetopa senior Brice Riddle and Jayhawk-Linn junior Justin Mark.

The other players on the Second Team are Oswego senior Brant Yeoman and junior Kel Yeoman, Northeast sophomore Drew Mills and Pleasanton sophomore Brenton Laver.

The Honorable Mention list has Oswego senior Travis Schenker and junior Weston Eckermann, Pleasanton senior Matt Bauer, St. Paul seniors Billy Brown and Austin O'Brien and Crest sophomore Hunter Frazell.
