Tammy Sue Merriman
Tammy Sue Merriman, age 51, a resident of Mulberry, Kan., died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at the Fort Scott Manor in Fort Scott, Kan. She was born Oct. 31, 1962, in Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Merle Henry Button and Mable Dunham Button.
Survivors include her seven children; Keith Murrow and Jennifer, of Horton, Kan., Steven Merriman and Virginia, of Fort Scott, Jacob Merriman, Fort Scott, Tamera Merriman and Levi, of Franklin, Kan., Amberly Merriman, Beatrice Merriman and Jeffrey Doherty, all of Fort Scott; and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Ronald, Ralph, Bobby, and Donny Button, all of Fort Scott; and four sisters, Merlene Button, Bonnie Phillips and Mary DuVall, all of Fort Scott and Judy Snow, Everton, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Steven Merriman, and three sisters, Patsy Button, Shirley Armstrong and Patty Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
