Marian Cox Fearing

Marian Cox Fearing, 84, of Bay Village, Ohio passed away on Sept. 29, 2013. Marian was born in rural Linn County, Kan., one of six children of Clyde and Suzie Zimmerman Cox. She graduated from the University of Kansas. She made her career in real estate accounting, was a world traveler, a genealogist, a gardener, a community volunteer and a bridge player. Marian was a longtime member of the Bay United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Franklin; a son Christopher Fearing and his daughters, Kelsey and Kayla of Houston, Texas; and a daughter Sarah Kocinski and her husband, John and their daughter, Angela of Brunswick, Ohio. Also surviving from this area is a sister, Lorene Akers of Lawrence and a brother, Gerald Cox and wife, Billie of Mound City; in addition to several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Royer and two brothers, Lorimer Cox and Harold Cox. Private family graveside services were held. Interment was in Lakewood Park Cemetery.
