Howard M. Ham, 73, of Fort Scott, formerly of Arcadia, died at 11:08 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at his home in Fort Scott, Kan.

Mr. Ham was born Oct. 29, 1939, at Montgomery City, Mo., the son of Floyd M. and Geneva Chrystal Blackburn Ham. Howard worked for Hall's Gas Station in Fort Scott. He was raised in Arcadia and attended Arcadia Schools. He lived most of his life in Arcadia prior to moving to Fort Scott in 1992. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Helen Green and Jean Ham both of Fort Scott and a brother, Richard Ham of Grove, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dorothy Moore and a brother, Dale Ham.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Shiloh Cemetery near Oskaloosa, Mo., with the Rev. Bob Dickey officiating. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kan, 66712.
