Boyd Radean Shaw
Boyd Radean Shaw, 73, Bronaugh, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Radean was born June 3, 1940, to Boyd Kennon Shaw and Wynona Mildred Feller. He was married in July 1962 to Lula Bogart, and then later married Hattie LaVerne Fletcher, Dec. 9, 1990 in Garland, Kan. She survives of the home.
Radean worked for 20-plus years at Pohl Construction, held a private pilot license, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was currently a member of Hermann Lodge No. 187 in Liberal, Mo. He received his 50-year pin September Survivors include his wife Hattie of the home; five children, David Radean Shaw and his wife Lisa, Milo, Mo., Chris Kent Shaw, Tacoma, Wash., Barry Craig Larsen, Jon Darren Larsen, both of Fort Scott, Robin Elizabeth Kendrick and her husband Matt, Girard, Kan., five grandchildren, Blake J. Shaw and his wife Amanda, Tyler A. Shaw and his wife Whitney, Jacob D. Clark, Amanda L. Larsen, Darci Kendrick, one great-grandchild, Catelyn Shaw, one brother, Kennon Rogene Shaw and his wife Jane, Bronaugh, three sisters, Sharon Nell Garrison, Olathe, Kan., Shirley Wynona Farran and her husband Michael, Nevada, and Saundra Sue Bogart and her husband Harry, Bronaugh. He is preceded in death by one son Randy Lane Larsen.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Dale Cummins officiating. Interment will follow in Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh, Mo. Friends may call now until the hour of service and the family will receive friends Sunday, July 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ferry Funeral Home with Masonic Services at 3 p.m.
