Billie Gayle Johnson, age 66, former resident of the Highrise Apartments, died Saturday, July 06, 2013, at Fort Scott Manor. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Following visitation, there will be cremation with burial at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a Billie Johnson Memorial Fund and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, Kansas 66701.
