Fourth of July celebrations were held in Uniontown Wednesday evening and in Fort Scott throughout the day Thursday.

The parade bean 30 years ago when some parents thought it would be fun for their kids to have a Fourth of July parade. It has grown from a few kids on their bicycles to an event for the entire neighborhood, as well as others who want to join in the fun.
