A Fort Scott teen was hurt in a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon north of Fort Scott.
Ivanna J. Smith, 16, of Fort Scott, was injured when the 2006 Chevrolet Equinox she was driving south on 235th Street struck water on the roadway and hydroplaned. Smith lost control of the vehicle and entered the west ditch. The vehicle rolled twice before coming to rest on its tires, a Kansas Highway Patrol report said.
