Summertime fun in Fort Scott

From street festivals and county fairs to a gathering of cowboy poets, the summer months are packed with events and activities for people of all ages and interests.

Slated to kick off the summer event season in Fort Scott is the 32nd annual Good Ol' Days festival, a popular downtown street fair that runs from May 30 to June 1. Entertainment is scheduled to take place the evenings of May 30-31 and run all day June 1. Admission to the festival is free but some events will require an admission fee.
