Decision made on middle school activities program

After more than a year of debate, the issue of whether to provide interscholastic athletics for Fort Scott Middle School students was put to rest Monday.

The USD 234 Board of Education voted unanimously during its regular monthly meeting to offer a combination program of interscholastic and intramural sports for its middle school students.
