Paola sweeps Tiger JV

Fort Scott High's junior varsity softball team was swept by Paola on the south field at Fisher Park Thursday night by scores of 16-10 and 9-4.

The Tigers had 8 hits in the first game, four of which were doubles. Abi Keating and Kyle Brown each had 2 hits. Those two along with Tanner Wunderly drove in 2 runs each.

In game two, the Tigers had 9 hits. Keating and Kinede Ross each had 2. Wunderly dove in 2 runs with her hit. The other hits were picked up by Abi Denton, Meghan Guss, Bailey Brown, and Kyle Brown.

Paola hit 4 home runs over the short fences on the south field in each game.

The Tiger junior varsity isn't scheduled to play again until May 3 at Parsons. They will conclude their season with a doubleheader at Chanute on May 9.
