Patrick John Leek

Patrick John Leek, age 21, passed away March 5, 2013 in Olathe, Kan. A visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Monday, March 11 with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Penwell Gabel Funeral Home Olathe Chapel. A Memorial mass will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Ft. Scott, Kan. Patrick was born March 30, 1991 in Olathe, Kan. to James and Sandra Leek. He attended Prince of Peace Catholic School, Oxford Park Academy, Chisholm Trail Junior High, Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, and Shawnee Mission South High School. He earned his GED from Johnson County Community College. His hobbies were art, beat boxing, and gardening. He was employed at Rachel's Gardens in Olathe.

He is survived by his parents, James and Sandra Leek, four brothers, Ernest, Andrew, Thomas and Alex, and five sisters, Esther Leek-Veitch, Anne Sherwin, Mary Leek-Stolz, Jane Leek and Angela Leek, aunts and uncle Carol and John Krieger, and Susan Sulkey, one niece, Salome Leek-Stolz, and two nephews, Clovis Leek --Veitch and Ajax Leek-Veitch.
