Brenton Esslinger and Shelby Newman were selected 2013 Uniontown High School Homecoming King and Queen during ceremonies at the West Bourbon Elementary School gymnasium Friday night. This 2013 Winter Homecoming was a celebration of the Uniontown High School students and the winter sports programs. The entire student body had a part in the week's activities. Homecoming began the week before, with the selection of the candidates, dress-up days this past week, continuing with the coronation ceremony and finally the dance last Friday. Uniontown's basketball teams played Pleasanton. The girls defeated the Blu-Jays (see story, page 6) while the boys went down to defeat. (Submitted photo)
