FSHS Scholars' Bowl team hosts home tourney

Fort Scott Scholars' Bowl teams hosted their home tournament. Twenty-four teams competed in three pools of round-robin style, and then the top eight teams competed in single-elimination style.

Winners were third-place Paola, second-place Yates Center, and first-place Fort Scott. The Fort Scott team consisted of Mark Garner, Zadok Self, Michelle Buntain, Krista Hightower, and Mady McColm.

The Fort Scott varsity team has placed in four of six tournaments this year. The junior varsity has placed in two of its four tournaments, gaining a first place at Paola.
