Therapy Consultants grand opening set

Thursday, January 17, 2013

The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a grand opening on Tuesday, Jan. 22, for Bradbury Therapy Consultants, located at 323 E. Wall St.

The full-service physical therapy clinic provides services for people of all ages, pediatric to geriatric. With the assistance of education specialists, the business will be offering a unique program called Thera-Play combining physical and learning activities for pre-kindergarten through third grade youth, a news release said.

Tutoring services will also be available for all ages.

The business is owned by Katricia Bradbury, a Fort Scott native. She has been providing services on-site to schools, homes, and senior care facilities. She will continue those services, and is excited about opening a physical location to expand the programs and equipment used in her practice.

Joely Womeldorff, massage therapist, will also be located in the clinic and will be taking appointments on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the release said.

Those attending the grand opening are invited to come and go between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments and a tour of the clinic will be available.

The event is open to all chamber and community members.
