Harry Jarrett

, 84, of Fort Scott, passed away Friday morning, Jan. 4, 2013, at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital. Harry was born May 8, 1928, in Columbus, Kan., the only son of Harry Milton and Lacy Neal (Elliott) Jarrett. He married Donna Mae Olson on April 4, 1948. She preceded him in death on July 31, 2006.

Harry and Donna had six children; Joan (deceased), Kevin, La Veta, Marilyn, Neil, and Iris. There are 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services for Harry Jarrett will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus, Kan. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., before leaving for the Cemetery.
