Alice "Elaine" Lhuillier, 87, of Lenexa and formerly of Overland Park, Kan., passed away on Jan. 4, 2013.

Elaine was born Jan. 8, 1925, in El Dorado, Kan. She was raised in Fort Scott, Kan., where she met and married Clayton "Lou" "Monk" Lhuillier. Elaine was a longtime volunteer at St. Joseph Medical Center and a lifelong member of P.E.O.

Survivors include her four children, Janet Lhuillier of Lenexa, David (Terri) Lhuillier of Redding, Calif., Cathy (Dan) Gill of San Diego, Calif., and Nancy (Mike) Natalini of Pittsburg, Kan., three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a brother, Jim Kington of Casper, Wyo. Elaine was preceded in death by her loving husband, an infant son, James Clayton, a sister, Martha Larsen, and her mother and stepfather, Bernice and Ernest Blincoe.

Private interment will be at Osawatomie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Health Center Foundation 1000 Carondelet Drive, Kansas City, Mo., 64114, for the benefit of the fifth floor rehab unit.
