Gospel music part of Old Settlers festivities

Area residents and weekend visitors are invited to share an evening of gospel music at Uniontown City Park.

The gospel sing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2. In case of bad weather, the gospel sing will be moved to the Baptist Church.

Two family groups will be singing -- the Missouri Bruners and Holy Cow. Robert, his wife, Cheri, and his sister, Trish Brewer are the Missouri Bruners. They will start the evening with gospel/bluegrass music.

Holy Cow will bring their brand of country gospel "moosic." They tend to use their family name -- Heriford -- to have fun as they sing for the Lord, a news release said.
