Firstsource Solutions Limited ranks in Global Outsourcing 100

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Firstsource Solutions Limited, a global provider of customized business process outsourced services to the banking and financial services, telecom and media and health care sectors, has announced that it has been ranked No. 22 in the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Global Outsourcing 100 rankings.

This is an improvement over its ranking of 36th in 2011.

The Global Outsourcing 100 is an independently judged ranking of the world's best outsourcing service providers which has become an important resource to help companies compare providers and advisors using an objective methodology, a news release said.

"This ranking is testament to the dedicated 30,000-plus employees of Firstsource who deliver excellent value to our clients every day, and to our clients who appreciate the service we provide."

Locally, Firstsource operates a health care claims support operation from its service center at 4500 Campbell Dr., where it employs 94 people and is hiring.

Customers of the local center include Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans, government-sponsored health plans and several Medicaid plans from across the country, the release said.

International Association of Outsourcing Professionals is the global standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession. With more than 120,000 members and affiliates worldwide, IAOP helps companies increase their outsourcing success.
